A heavenly mix of broken wheat, milk, jaggery, and nuts! Kheer is a mainstream Indian treat made on different celebrations and events the nation over.

Ingredients

  • 150 Broken wheat
  • 50 Ghee
  • 50 Raisin
  • 2 Cardamom powder
  • 50 ml Jaggery
  • 100-gram Cashew nut
  • 500 ml Milk

Instructions

Follow Some Steps

  1. Warm ghee in a thick base non-stick dish; add slip by and sauté till clear and fragrant.
  2. Add raisins and sauté on high warmth. Add green cardamom powder and cashew nut and blend well.
  3. Add jaggery, blend well and cook briefly. Followed by adding some water, mix consistently and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Decrease heat, add milk, step by step, and continue to mix till all-around mixed.
